Stop Eating Like a Toddler & Expecting Adult Results
I can’t believe I used to think eating LESS automatically = weight loss.
Honestly… looking back, it was wild behaviour!
And yes, drastically cutting calories sounds logical.
And yes, it might work for a hot minute.
But long term?
It will absolutely chew you up and spit you out.
Here’s why:
1. You end up with a toxic relationship with food
This is where the binge-restrict cycle kicks in.
Where you try to be good…
…then cave and inhale everything in sight because you’re starving and miserable.
Been there. Worn the T-shirt. Burned it.
2. Your body starts breaking down muscle for energy
And when you lose muscle, your metabolism slows right down.
Translation: you burn fewer calories even at REST.
So now you’re eating nothing AND making no progress. Brutal.
3. Under-eating feels like walking around half-charged all day
Low energy.
Moody.
Cravings through the roof.
Feeling like a gremlin by 3pm.
It’s not a vibe.
So no… the answer is NOT “eat less”.
The answer is: eat smarter.
My CC girls get the best results when they’re eating enough protein, fats, fibre and actual meals that fuel them - because that keeps your metabolism firing, your muscle protected, and your energy stable.
Eat like someone who cares about her goals, not like someone trying to survive on crumbs.
